Rijk Zwaan

Rijk Zwaan is a worldwide specialist in breeding vegetable varieties and producing vegetable seed of high quality. We do this in part by innovative Research & Development, inspired by the wishes and tastes of our customers.

Annually we create in excess of 150 new, improved vegetable varieties of more than 20 different vegetable species. This puts us in the top 10 of the largest vegetable breeding companies in the world.

Besides creating new vegetable varieties, Rijk Zwaan also provides services such as crop advice, client support and chain management.

With nearly 20 subsidiaries all around the world, Rijk Zwaan is an open, co-operative partner in the international food-producing chain of growers, merchants and supermarkets. In our work we have respect for our business relations and our environment.
