The farm comprises 20 hectares of land with fertile topsoil. The station has an office, a workshop and staff facilities as well as a seed storage area, product evaluation facilities and a greenhouse closed for insects for crossing and seed production.

The irrigation has been designed in such a way that drip, sprinkler, furrow and basin irrigation are possible anywhere on the farm. This allows a local farmer’s situation to be simulated without uniformity being compromised.
