Meanwhile, on a private farm close to Afrisem, we are currently demonstrating two new varieties of eggplant from Afrisem that are expected to become commercially available in the near future.

The demo plot allows farmers to compare the results of conventional practices with those of recommended improved practices. We regularly organise field days for local farmers and local partner organisations.
